evaluation of yield and yield components of cotton cultivars and successful hybrids in the moghan region

cotton is of particular importance  in fiber crops. variation in the cultivars and the potential of different cultivars is an important step in increasing production per unit area. in this study, nine new varieties of cotton including cotton hybrids successful and successful genotypes in a randomized complete block design with four replications,  with varamin camecial cultivar were evaluated in the moghan region  for one year. in per plot cultivars were planted in 6 line with 8 meter length  at intervals of 20 × 80. in this study quantitative traits such as height, yield, early maturity,boll number and boll weight were studied. data from this study after sum up, were analysis of variance and mean comparisons. the results of analysis of variance indicated that the total yield, genotypes nnc and sk.s-c, respectively, with average yield of 4100 and 3900 kg per hectare, the highest yield and the yield precocity of the most important traits in cotton breeding is nnc genotype is 85% more than other genotypes was premature.
